There’s probably no more powerful a reminder of just how out of touch and clueless Barackistan HQ is than Organizing for America’s latest email directive issued by O for A’s David Plouffe — “June 6th: It all begins”.

There was ZERO headscratching here at RBO HQ about the significance of June 6th. It just happens to be the 65th Anniversy of D-Day, the Battle of Normandy, June 6, 1944.

So, is that what Plouffe is talking about? Hardly. Once again, POTUS and his faithful hord are deliberately tone deaf.

And just what is the It that is to “begin” on June 6th, you ask? Well, here’s the email message:


We especially like this part:

We will look back on that day as the moment when the fight for real health care reform began in your neighborhood — perhaps even in your own living room.

Hey, numbskulls, you just don’t get it, do you?

FYI — The D-Day Museum in Portsmouth, England, reports on the human sacrifice from the battle:

The Allied casualties figures for D-Day have generally been estimated at 10,000, including 2500 dead. Broken down by nationality, the usual D-Day casualty figures are approximately 2700 British, 946 Canadians, and 6603 Americans. However recent painstaking research by the US National D-Day Memorial Foundation has achieved a more accurate – and much higher – figure for the Allied personnel who were killed on D-Day. They have recorded the names of individual Allied personnel killed on 6 June 1944 in Operation Overlord, and so far they have verified 2499 American D-Day fatalities and 1915 from the other Allied nations, a total of 4414 dead (much higher than the traditional figure of 2500 dead). Further research may mean that these numbers will increase slightly in future.

These gatherings on June 6th are just the beginning of a battle between those who fought and believe in change and those who would protect a broken status quo. The stakes for our country could not be greater.

Note the use of the propaganda words “battle between those who fought to believe in change and those who would protect a broken status quo” as if there were any comparison of the two events.

Insensitive, stupid, clueless, witless, self-absorbed, stupid (did we already say stupid?), ignorant, (add your own here adjective: ___________), and full of bullshit.

What exactly will these groups be organizing for? Obama has taken single payer health insurance off the table. This means that the grass roots groups will end up organizing on behalf of the already obscenely rich and powerful drug and insurance industries.

Obama has already given billions to Wall Street and his friends in the financial industry. Now he’s getting ready to hand out billions to the health insurance and drug barons.

Now we’ll see livingrooms and community halls full of Obamabots whipped up into a frenzy of fear and dread about single payer healthcare and singing the merits of the private health insurance industry.

The ‘community organizer’ is doing it again. When will his followers realize that the only community he is interested in supporting is the pay to play gang of thugs he’s been associated with his whole political career?
