Zeus mysteriously materialized in my life a few years ago. He's a very complex, wise-cracking, irreverent dog with some serious attitude. However, he is arguably the most highly evolved being I have ever encountered. His great delight is in turning my world (and yours) inside out and upside down, with the soul purpose of revealing forgotten knowledge. He's brilliant, unexpectedly funny, and wise beyond comprehension—hardly astounding for someone from a dimension as far advanced beyond the human race as we are beyond a pile of sand. What gets me is how much he loves being a dog. Why am I here on earth? You are here for one purpose, and that is that you are trying to prove to yourself that you are separate from God. In reality, you and God are one, but in fact you have created the illusion that you are indeed separate. How do I create this illusion? The illusion is created by thinking you are separate from other people. Without other people, you cannot create the illusion of separateness. How do I heal this illusion? You must see the face of God in everyone you meet, and you must realise that you are One with everyone and everything. As long as the thought of separateness remains dominant in your mind, you will always have great pain in your life. This tiny thought that you have separated yourself from all of Creation is indeed the source of all your pain. Turning To Home by Barbara -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Most of my youth was spent parked in the corner of the local public library with my glasses at the end of my nose, pouring over whatever happened to be my fancy at the moment. When I was about 12 years old, my Social Studies teacher asked us to write a paper on World Religions. I spent hours reading for that paper. That sparked a life-long interest in the spiritual. This eventually led to my immersion in religion, which led to metaphysics and back to spirituality.
