The pirates would buy Citigroup with new debt and their existing cash stockpiles, earned most recently from hijacking numerous ships, including most recently a $200 million Saudi Arabian oil tanker. The Somali pirates are offering up to $0.10 per share for Citigroup, pirate spokesman Sugule Ali said earlier today. The negotiations have entered the final stage, Ali said. Personally, this woman should have been convicted of murder... Her actions were immoral, unethical, incomprehensible, emotionally abusive and led to someone's death. Gordon Brown said that lessons must be learned from the case of a man who repeatedly raped his two daughters over more than two decades, fathering nine children by them. The Prime Minister said that a full case review was now under way after the 56-year-old businessman on Tuesday received 25 life sentences for rape at Sheffield Crown Court. "The whole country will be outraged by those unspeakable events that have been reported as happening in Sheffield and in other parts of the country and will be utterly appalled by the news of the systemic abuse of two sisters by their father over such a long period," he told MPs at Prime Minister's Questions. "People will want to know how such abuse could go on for so long without the authorities and the wider public services discovering it and taking action. The information was revealed in the initial findings of a national report compiled by Dorit Abramovitz, director of projects and campaigns for the umbrella organization of feminist groups in Israel. The report, which was sponsored by the German-based Heinrich Boll Foundation, compares today's feminist landscape to that prior to 1990, when only 14 such organizations existed here.
