by Andy Barr Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh and televangelist Pat Robertson are being scolded for their comments in the immediate aftermath of an earthquake in Haiti that has killed tens of thousands, according to early estimates. Critics from both the left and right are denouncing their remarks as insensitive to the disaster and attempts to score political points off human tragedy. Speaking on his radio show Wednesday, Limbaugh said the earthquake has played into Obama’s hands, allowing the president to look “compassionate” and “humanitarian” while at the same time bolstering his standing in both the “light-skinned and dark-skinned black community in this country.” He added: “We've already donated to Haiti. It’s called the U.S. income tax.” Limbaugh’s comments were, in part, a riff on Sen. I am not a fan of Obambi's (and I am certainly not a fan of yours) but can you just PRETEND to have some journalistic integrity and check things before you bloviate about them? Oh wait! I forgot - you don't have to - you're Rush! It must have seemed so perfect. An obscure blogger unearths some pages of President Obama's college thesis. The report supposedly comes from big-time journalist Joe Klein of Time magazine. And the thesis has some real gems: like Obama's disdain for the Constitution. The whole thing was nothing more than a satirical post on a humor blog. But Rush Limbaugh, who quoted from the supposed thesis on his radio show, sure wasn't laughing. Here's how it went down. I have never liked Rush Limbaugh or any of the Right Wing Pundits. I don't like pot-stirrers but Rush is the most selfish, bloviating jerk of them all. I am a talk-radio addict, but the sound of this rhino's voices makes me cringe and hit the button on my Sirius reciever faster than Rush swallows Oxycontin. Granted, Obama and Rahm don't thrill me either but it looks like Rush really allow them to put a big steamin' pile right under him and then proceeded to step in it.
