I'm sitting with one of the abused women I've been asked to speak with. I focus on abuse that's non physical, mainly because it's so culturally pervasive yet hard to get at. We start talking: "He's says I'm a bitch & a nag. Since I left after catching him cheating he says I am a "woman scorned" and that "hell hath no fury." "If I had a dime for every time I heard that." The media's gang rape of Hillary Clinton continues unabated. Women in power are still scarier to the general public AND the media than ethnic minorities. Just look and see we really aren't that far away from the way Islamofacists treat women. ARE WE? We're just more covert about it.
