What I can I say. Wow. I'm honored. Clearly Big Guy - who can't stop dancing on the bed up in the residence right now, by the way - won this award for his speeches. I mean, after nominating himself for the Nobel Prize for Peace two weeks after entering the office of the Presidency, let's face it, it isn't like he had anything to show for it. He said if he'd known it was this easy to win a Nobel, he would have nominated himself for the Nobel Prize for Literature years ago for his 5th Grade essay on "Raisin the Sun" ( of course, he would have had to share that prize with Billy Ayers) . Or his yeast science project from 7th grade for the Nobel Prize for chemistry. There's so much to do now before the awards ceremony in Oslo. I'm going to have to buy a ...

Yours truly is a voracious reader. So are my children. Even my child with ADD who is struggling with many subjects -- reads WAAAAY above grade level. I prefer reading to television. I love reading the blogosphere, books, and so on. My local library says they need to open a new wing just with the read-books my kids and I have donated. Right now I have a historical fiction, a book on treating pathology its psychological impact, the New York Post and a bunch of color swatches for my dining room wall on my bedside table. (come on... I'm a woman, what did you expect! LOL) When I was dating I was always attracted to intelligent people who read. Always. My ex husband had an extensive library on a variety of subjects and was, at the time, willing to converse and have civil debate on many areas. All of my friends are still very smart, intelligent people who don't yes me. They are well read and up on current events. Unfortunately, I don't like stupid; almost as much as I do...
