Hillary Still has a Global Following

Image
By: Kenneth P. Vogel and Laura Rozen Nearly two years after Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ended her losing presidential campaign and endorsed rival Barack Obama, Clinton’s allies maintain a triad of groups that have continued to make her presence felt in the political world — and could serve as a platform for the next phase of her public life. Her presidential campaign committee, still in the process of winding down, maintains and makes money off a lasting asset from her presidential bid — an e-mail list of 2.5 million core supporters. Her Senate campaign committee accrues modest interest on a $1.9 million nest egg. And a thriving foundation called No Limits, founded after Clinton resigned from the Senate to join Obama’s Cabinet, works to burnish her legacy, maintains contact with Clinton supporters and pursues a policy agenda that closely mirrors Clinton’s own — health care and women’s issues. The three entities operate almost completely apart from Clinton, who is barred by proto...

Reel 'Em In, John McCain!

Image
If they Obamabots and Howard Dean's thugs are determined to freeze out Clinton -- then John McCain should just reel in those millions of votes! One of the big things that all the Democrats and media like to get worried about is the seemingly large percentage of Clinton supporters who seem poised to jump ship from the donkey party if -- when -- Barack Obama wins the nomination. While I will agree that it makes perfect sense to do something like that. To choose to vote for someone whose values are completely at odds with your own just because some guy had the nerve to run a successful campaign against your candidate of choice. I mean, that's what a smart, thinking, reasonable person would do, right? However, it seems that there's a long history of voters -- on both sides of the aisle -- of talking out of their ass during the big primary battles... It is true that between 25 and 45 percent of Democrats who voted for Clinton have told pollsters that they would vote for John...

Tension At the Convention... Duh!

Image
I'm with you AMY! Don't forget about Michelle Obama's own words about Voting for Hillary: FOR THOSE ON AN AGGREGATOR CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE VIDEO by Rabble Rouser Reverend Amy As one might expect, things are not all sweetness and light at the Convention (and I will freely admit, up front, that I plan to watch very little of it. No way in HELL do I want to watch Michelle Obama speak, or even Barack, for that matter. I don’t need to hear Michelle’s arrogant patronizing speech or Obama’s patronizing arrogant speech. No thanks. There are really only two people I do want to hear speak: Bill and Hillary Clinton. It seems, though, according to John Harris and Mike Allen of Politico.com that there are some major tensions between the Obama and Clinton camps. Now, really, did any of us HONESTLY think it would be any different? Obama treated both Clintons like pure crap, and denigrated one of the best presidents we have had in 40 years, so, uh, YEAH, they might still be a little peeve...

Original at http://my.barackobama.com/page/event/detail/communityservice/4spx . The prayer request is for… From 6/1-8/6 Watching the spectical on Sat. at the rules meeting breaks my heart. We can’t wait for HRC to see the light on her own, we need to begin praying for her and her supporters now. Please commit to praying for them daily to : stop trying to hurt the Obama’s and the Democratic party. Pray God will speak to them all and change their hearts so their only pursuit will be party unity and whole heartedly backing Sen. Obama. Wow, not too condescending is it? So what should we all be praying for today? World peace? An end to violence against children? Religious harmony? Nope. We’ should all get on our knees an pray that Hillary Clinton and Hillary Clinton supporters see the light (or the one) and stop picking on poor little Barack Obama. SOURCE
