DON'T PISS OFF A GOLD STAR MOTHER We can talk all we want about if the 'surge' is working or not. We're not there. But I am a mother, and I listen when other mothers talk - out of their grief and pain. It's sickening to hear that some believe these mothers are "pawns for the Defeat-o-Crats" or "being used by the Cut & Run-ners." Smear. All Smear. The U.S. military is one entity. When we went into Iraq it was like hitting a ball of mercury - beads EVERYWHERE. Different factions, different areas, all fighting each other and us. How are we supposed to contain that? How are we supposed to conquer that? We can't. We need to decide on a sane plan to get our overstretched military home and stop feeding the Bush Crime Family's Oil Lust & War Mongering. Now.
