Rush Gets Played

I have never liked Rush Limbaugh or any of the Right Wing Pundits. I don't like pot-stirrers but Rush is the most selfish, bloviating jerk of them all. I am a talk-radio addict, but the sound of this rhino's voices makes me cringe and hit the button on my Sirius reciever faster than Rush swallows Oxycontin. Granted, Obama and Rahm don't thrill me either but it looks like Rush really allow them to put a big steamin' pile right under him and then proceeded to step in it. You can always tell when the Right Wing gets clipped too close because of their over-the-top reaction (I call it "pathological rage"). Thank goodness Rush is a too much of a coward to do this debate for real. By the way, anyone sending any "support the troops" monies to this drug-addicted whale lately? Salty Anti-Semitism

This is as inane as it is frightening... Maryland man develops Christian salt Did you ever wish there were a Christian version of kosher salt? I thought not. But apparently a retired barber, Joe Godlewski, did. Godlewski, who lives in western Maryland, has named his new product Blessed Christian Salt. It went on the market this week. It's simply sea salt that's been blessed by an Episcopal priest, which is kind of an odd choice of denomination when you think about it. I would get a celebrity TV evangelist for more endorsement power. ... You can buy Blessed Christian Salt on the Internet or in Christian bookstores . Apparently some portion of the proceeds will go to charity, according to an AP story, but no one is saying how much or which charities. Also according to the AP story, Rabbi Sholem Fishbane, kosher administrator for the Chicago Rabbinical Council, said he doesn't blame Godlewski for seizing a business opportunity, even one that plays on public misconceptions ab...

FINALLY! SOMEONE STOPS THE SPREAD OF CAPPUCCINOISM O.K. I love Starbucks. I don't lie, so there. I said it. Their frappuccinos on a hot day in August are like manna in the Baked Apple. Sure, some mornings after getting my kids to school - I get a latte or cappucino to get myself going... oh yeah, and a biscotti. I know... I have a terrible coffee addiction. I've been like this since undergrad school. I am working on it. Really. But Starbucks is spreading like fungus. It's everywhere. In the capitol of British Columbia there's a cross-street with a Starbucks on every corner. In London, where tea is king, Starbucks and Burger King were just about everywhere. There's one parked inside my local Target store. Branding? Yes. World Domination? No. However, there are some places Starbucks just should not be. And the Imperial Palace was probably one of them. Starbucks finds Imperial Palace a forbidding market A controversial Starbucks coffee shop in the Forbidde...
