You Can't "Demonize" a Demon

Image
HOW DO BRAINS GET DIFFERENT? by Kathy Krajco How on earth does one "demonize" a psychopath? If 20 times a day you think, "I love milk and all the milk in the world belongs to me," the little pathway of connecting brain cells that lights up to think that thought dumps transmitter substance into those connections 20 times a day. The amount of this chemical builds up, because it is being added to faster than it degrades. This is called MEMORY. It's what we LEARN with. Keep thinking 20 times a day, every day, "I love milk and all the milk in the world belongs to me." There will soon be so much transmitter substance between the connections along that pathway that it will take almost nothing to stimulate that thought. In other words, every time you see something white, it could make you think that thought. In other other words, the connections get touchy. See what I mean? You are acquiring a habit. There gets to be so much of that transmitter substance in th...

Worry, Worry, Worry

Another great one from my late friend, Kathy Krajco! But I have to add something someone wrote today - about those of us injured & abused by these types of people; and what narcissistic people do when we ask for some ACKNOWLEDGMENT of our pain and what they did to us. It's spot-on: If the abuser maintains contact or accountability with you and sees your hurt and pain... it gets harder and harder to convince himself of his self-righteousness. So he disappears. He is off; reaffirming his delusions that he is 'perfect, did no wrong and never hurt you' or that you are 'just as guilty' or 'asked for it' over and over and over until he can be sure they are the "truth" he believes. by Kathy Krajco Malignant narcissists deal with the dirty, rotten things they do by denying how inferior it makes them to people with integrity. They do this by manufacturing delusions of its opposite - superiority. They do this because they are emotional children, and t...

This One's for You & Yours, Barky!

THE HEART OF MALICE by (the late) Kathy Krajco A narcissist's need to have it all is something one must see, I'm afraid, to believe. It literally pains a narcissist to see anyone else get any. "Any" being any credit, appreciation, praise, recognition - whatever - just any form of what one narcissist I know called "sugar." It's just any form of the regard and respect human beings show each other in human relations, that stuff by which we VALUE other human beings as WORTHY of any regard. Narcissists are pigs who gotta have it all. They begrudge anyone else any. Like three-year-olds who haven't been taught to share. Doubt it? Just watch a narcissist while anyone present is getting credit for something or is being thanked or praised. He or she will look just sick. He acts HURT by it. Short changed, cheated of what rightly belonged to him. It's as though any shine on anyone else diminishes the glow of God Almighty's glory. He's gotta smear tha...

Michael Savage: Engage Your Brain Before Putting Your Mouth in Gear

Image
As the parent of a child with ADD and the aunt of an award winning, honor student with a form of autism -- I decry and loathe Savage's remarks... I also suspect he may have said them for the publicity and attention he'd get by making them. Unfortunately, like Don Imus, he will recover to verbally abuse another day. Protesters Decry Radio Commentator Michael Savage's Remarks About Autism Protesters gathered outside WOR-AM in New York City on Monday over syndicated radio commentator Michael Savage's remarks last Wednesday describing "99 percent of children with autism as brats." Some parents of autistic children have called for Savage's firing after he described autism as a racket last week. "In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out," Savage said on his radio program. Savage offered no apology in a message posted Monday on his Web site. He said greedy doctors and drug companies were creating a "n...
