MSNBC Anchors Gone Wild!

Gotta love it when the talking heads start turning on each other. Keith, I used to love you -- but your ego is almost as bad as NoBama's. It's the news, Keith... the news. CLICK HERE IF YOU'RE ON AN AGGREGATOR FOR THE ABOVE VIDEO Amid a spate of awkward on-air conflicts among MNSBC anchors at this week’s Democratic convention, some staff members say there are sharp internal disputes at the cable network over whether its opinion and personality-driven political coverage has crossed the line. “The situation at our channel is about to blow up,” a high-ranking MSNBC journalist told Politico on Wednesday. Two other MSNBC sources said some of the testy on-air exchanges between Keith Olbermann — whose quick-witted and often caustic commentary has fueled ratings growth — and other network personalities were a public glimpse of much more intense behind-the-scenes turmoil. As replays of the conflicts became YouTube hits, MSNBC President Phil Griffin gave his first public defense in ...

INFINITY MINUS 140,216 STILL LOVE YOU, KEITH!! by David Edwards and Muriel Kane "In Watergate, America was astounded by the fact that 18 1/2 minutes of secret presidential recordings were missing," stated Keith Olbermann on Monday. "Tonight the latest Bush administration scandal, as yet unchristened, makes that figure seem like a drop in the proverbial bucket. Try this number: Infinity minus 140,216. Karl Rove's improper emails. The 140,000 are the ones still preserved. The rest -- the infinity part -- the ones that were destroyed." Olbermann went on to describe the "jaw-dropping scandal" uncovered by Congressional investigators, where, in the most serious breach of the Presidential Records Act since its enactment, hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of emails improperly sent by White House officials through outside emails servers may have been illegally destroyed. As one example of the vast scope of the destruction, only 130 of Karl Rove's em...
A COMMENT ABOUT BETRAYAL by Keith Olbermann This is, in fact, a comment about… betrayal. Few men or women elected in our history—whether executive or legislative, state or national—have been sent into office with a mandate more obvious, nor instructions more clear: Get us out of Iraq. Yet after six months of preparation and execution—half a year gathering the strands of public support; translating into action, the collective will of the nearly 70 percent of Americans who reject this War of Lies, the Democrats have managed only this: * The Democratic leadership has surrendered to a president—if not the worst president, then easily the most selfish, in our history—who happily blackmails his own people, and uses his own military personnel as hostages to his asinine demand, that the Democrats “give the troops their money”; * The Democratic leadership has agreed to finance the deaths of Americans in a war that has only reduced the security of Americans; * The Democratic leadersh...

OY! THE MAN IS JUST A COMEDIAN! I really love Stephen Colbert and Jon Stewart. They make me laugh. A lot. That's because they are COMICS. I used to be one. The best kind of comic writing is to reveal the ironies and absurdities of life. Stewart & Colbert have a lot to say. They don't ask you to AGREE with them nor are they promoting themselves as policymakers. They are comics. Sharp, insightful but under it all - trying to be funny. They lampoon themselves as much as they do others. Being able to see the humor in your own nonsense is mentally healthy. And personally, I have problems with people who can make fun of others but not laugh when the joke's on them. Relax Rep. Emanuel. It's a COMEDY SHOW. Now Carlos Mencia? A whole 'nother story! (that's for my nephew!) EXCERPTS: "Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.), the Democratic Caucus chairman, has told new Democratic members of Congress to steer clear of Stephen Colbert, or at least his satirical C...
