Obama ALREADY Negotiating with Hezbollah and Iran

Image
by Jeff Gold On May 14th Mr. Obama visited Michigan and spoke to a group of 20 local leaders, but decided to give a special private audience to the head of the Islamic Center of America Imam Hassan Qazwini. For Obama to be chatting in a one-on-one with Qazwini, is equivalent to meeting with Ayatollah Khomeini’s, and Hezbollahs’ representative in America! Qazwini is an Iraqi born cleric of exceptional religious pedigree and runs America’s largest Mosque, in Detroit Michigan. Widely understood to be a moderate reformist, Qazwini claims to be a proud American while incessantly harping-on about being a proud (?) Victim of American Islamophobia. To his credit, he enjoys the endorsement of George Bush in the past, and is widely seen as a “progressive” scholar, but as with all things Muslim and Western, he is far from any “progressivism” in the common sense of the word. When dealing with Islam, the West has to search under rocks to find anything remotely “moderate.” Being a “moderate” in th...

MSM: Unjustified 'Rules' for Clinton

Image
Really, Why Should Hillary Drop Out? by Michael Kwiatkowski A while back I had made a big stink about the primaries dragging on, because of the damage being done to the Democratic Party by having two massive egos battling it out until August. But after doing some reading and looking at the last couple of big wins for Hillary Clinton, the latest apparently being in Kentucky, I've come to the conclusion that the former First Lady should stay in this race as long as she thinks she can get the nomination to run for president. A large part of this has to do with the corporate media having participated in the drive to push her out of this campaign, "for the 'good' of the party and the nation." The pressure being applied to Clinton to get out of the race is both unprecedented and unjustified, a solid case made by Eric Boehlert: Looking back at history, it's hard to find evidence of the same media response to Ronald Reagan's failed 1976 presidential campaign. Hagee: Jews Have Dead Souls

Image
And McCain wants to be President? He didn't even check who he was 'getting into bed with'. 'Baseless attacks'? Makes ya' wonder, don't it? If you're reading this on an aggregator, CLICK HERE to see the video McCain Dumps Hagee Republican John McCain has rejected the endorsement of an influential Texas televangelist criticized for his anti-Catholic and homophobic views. John Hagee, the Texas preacher, withdrew his endorsement at the same time. McCain issued a statement after audio surfaced in which Hagee said God sent Adolf Hitler to help Jews reach the promised land. McCain said in a statement: "Obviously, I find these remarks and others deeply offensive and indefensible, and I repudiate them. I did not know of them before Reverend Hagee's endorsement, and I feel I must reject his endorsement as well." Hagee also issued a statement saying he was tired of baseless attacks and he was removing himself from any active role in the 2008 campaig...

Repetition Compulsion

Image
"Why do you do it?" I am often asked, when discussing my involvement with helping victims of non-physical abuse. "Doesn't it set you off or trigger you?" "Yes. But only by going over the patterns myself and with others will I teach them to recognize it. And remind myself before I get targetted to be used and discarded ever again." I try not to get into a discussion of Repetition Compulsion but so many people have asked me about it, I did some web searches until I found a good scientific article on what it is. I have posted a highly edited version below. My other reason? Is Teshuva. It's important to me and my ethical core, that I do something to contribute to healing others. Especially since I got involved with a couple predatory people in my life, did everything I could to help them and some of that help was having them coerce me way over my boundaries & conscience. Many of my friends don't understand why I am not more angry at be...

An American Honor "Killing"

Image
I'm sitting with one of the abused women I've been asked to speak with. I focus on abuse that's non physical, mainly because it's so culturally pervasive yet hard to get at. We start talking: "He's says I'm a bitch & a nag. Since I left after catching him cheating he says I am a "woman scorned" and that "hell hath no fury." "If I had a dime for every time I heard that." I tell her "Men say it far too often rather than taking responsibility for their own behavior. It's blame-shifting. Problem is, far too many people find it easy to believe." She nods her head. "But remember," I say, "people don't like to see the tough answers. And your friends might be a little scared of him too. He sounds like a schoolyard bully calling you a poopyhead." Her face lights up with relief and I steer the conversation to the more practical aspects of her situation. I was able to make her se...

The "Gang Rape" Continues

Image
The media's gang rape of Hillary Clinton continues unabated. Women in power are still scarier to the general public AND the media than ethnic minorities. Just look and see we really aren't that far away from the way Islamofacists treat women. ARE WE? We're just more covert about it. Unless you count the sexualization of women as objects in the media (tv, advertising)... why, women are only good for a couple of things -- right? And heaven forbid you have any physical flaws -- why you're just trash then. We aren't even thinking human beings, no matter how much lip service is offered towards women's equality. I see it. Very clearly. And this nonsense is close to putting someone dangerously wrong for America in the White House. Again. CNN's Castellanos on Clinton as "white bitch": "[S]ome women, by the way, are named that and it's accurate" Summary: Discussing Sen. Hillary Clinton's comments regarding sexism in the media...

Light Sentence for Muslim Who Stabbed Rabbi

Image
German Muslim Sentenced for Stabbing Rabbi (he's the guy in the black jacket/ white pants) An Afghanistan-born German Muslim has been sentenced to three-and-a-half years in jail after he stabbed a rabbi in a Frankfurt street last September. The Jewish cleric believes the man was trying to kill him and that the sentence is too lenient. A German court sentenced a 23-year-old man Afghanistan-born man to three-and-a-half years in jail on Tuesday for stabbing and seriously injuring a rabbi in Frankfurt last September. The unemployed German Muslim, named only as Sajed A., stabbed rabbi Zalman Gurevitch, 42, in an altercation with the orthodox Jewish cleric who had been walking down a street with two companions. The court convicted him of causing grievous bodily harm. The Frankfurt public prosecutor’s office had initially planned to charge him with attempted manslaughter but refrained from doing so after investigating the case. During the trial an eyewitness said the two men had been invo...

Fibromyalgia: New Insights Into a Misunderstood Ailment

Image
Health experts recommend lots of sleep, nutrition goals for sufferers. By Holly VanScoy Fibromyalgia was once dismissed by many traditional medical practitioners as a phantom illness. But that view is changing rapidly. Not only is fibromyalgia accepted as a diagnosable illness, it is also a syndrome that researchers are finding more complicated as new information emerges. As recently as a year ago, many physicians still associated some of fibromyalgia's symptoms with emotional problems, but that's no longer the case. A simple description of fibromyalgia is that it is a chronic syndrome characterized by widespread muscle pain and fatigue. For still unknown reasons, people with fibromyalgia have increased sensitivity to pain that occurs in areas called their "tender points." Common ones are the front of the knees, the elbows, the hip joints, the neck and spine. People may also experience sleep disturbances, morning stiffness, irritable bowel syndrome, anxiety and other ...
