I left the Democratic Party a while ago, in complete disgust. I am now independent of any party because I want to be able to vote the way I believe is best. The Democratic Party has, in my mind, failed EVERY ONE OF ITS TENETS. I remember asking my late therapist a couple years ago, "am I just imagining I see pathological types around every corner?" She reassured me that she'd known me for 13 years then -- knew I had my head screwed on fairly straight; except for having a pathological parent which made me suseptible to narcissistic & sociopath types -- and that I probably was seeing, at least "the behaviors" of these kinds of people. The fact that I had experienced serious trauma because of one just a few years prior -- made me "hypervigilant" and she assured me, it was a good thing. I am infertile. Yes I have 2 children but I got them after 12+ years of drugs, treatments, surgeries even ovarian hyperstimulation... and during that time (but NOT because of the infertility treatments) I became disabled and had OTHER drugs, treatments and therapies that destroyed my body. But despite giving birth to two wonderful children, I am still INFERTILE. The point is this: You had to have help (in my case a LOT of it... treatments nowadays would have made this easier... but... oh well!) to do what most women do naturally and easily. You body doesn't work the way a woman's body should. And with PCOS a lot of other things happen that aren't pleasant. You may be a mother but you will always be infertile.
