RBO Rant: We f#@%ing told ya so! No Obama withdrawal from Iraq anytime soon

No apologies from RBO to all you gullible Lobotobots and self-deluded left-of-left Lefties — WE TOLD YOU SO!

1-1-1-cheetos1 No word from the Great Orange Satan yet, but the day is young. Of course, before you can say Chester, the Cheetobots will be furiously crafting “explanations” for The Anointed One.

So, it is from Obamaganda Central, the New York Times, that we turn for the official “word”. Put down your java and sharp objects. Stand back from the keyboard. There’s no way to soften this. The facts are the facts, however, even if the news is a mock Philly cheesesteak crap sandwich:

Campaign Promises on Ending the War in Iraq Now Muted by Reality.
On the campaign trail, Senator Barack Obama offered a pledge that electrified and motivated his liberal base, vowing to “end the war” in Iraq.

But as he moves closer to the White House, President-elect Obama is making clearer than ever that tens of thousands of American troops will be left behind in Iraq, even if he can make good on his campaign promise to pull all combat forces out within 16 months.

“I said that I would remove our combat troops from Iraq in 16 months, with the understanding that it might be necessary — likely to be necessary — to maintain a residual force to provide potential training, logistical support, to protect our civilians in Iraq,” Mr. Obama said this week as he introduced his national security team.
Did you catch the weasel words — “residual force” — number unspecified.

And, of course, you know nothing is EVAH the President-Select’s fault — and America’s four-year sentence doesn’t even begin for another month. The economy is in the tank — hence, funds are not only tick tight but also disappearing almost as quickly as IED smoke in the Iraqi desert wind.

So, who’s the fall guy? Maybe Obama national security adviser Richard Danzig who “said during the campaign that it could amount to 30,000 to 55,000 troops.”

How about that timetable for withdrawing troops from Iraq? The NYT informs us that Obama hasn’t indicated anything “beyond 16 months for troop drawdowns, or suggested when he believes a time might come for a declaration that the war is over.”

This, you see, is a blackwhite presidency-to-be. Question is this: How long will the Lobotobots and Cheezit crowd participate in the doublethink before they figure things out?
