Ok- we are used to the blatant lies and dissimulation; now it turns out he only tried convincing AIPAC that he’s the next best thing for Israel after Kosher Hamburgers.
A contiguous Palestinian state? Um… how exactly does one do that? With bridges and corridors criss-crossing and dividing up Israel proper? Yes, this from a candidate who thinks Arkansas is closer to Kansas than his home state, and that Oregon has great lakes. You thought George Bush was bad?
Was Obama suggesting encouraging member states of the UN to move their embassies from Tel-Aviv? Some Arab commentators certainly thought so - but an Obama campaign adviser latter clarified that Obama did not

Obama’s grandstanding at AIPAC, didn’t mean what the audience thought it meant. The Palestianians, Arabs, and Islamists, have nothing to worry about. Sleep soundly - Obama supporters, you will always have Khalidi.
In gratitude to their Khalidis, Obama’s supporters decided to post a few educational pieces about the Jewish lobby on My.BarackObama.com. Amazingly, the Obama camp even scrubbed it from Google’s cache! - but don’t worry Obama lovers, there is more to go around.
You didn’t really think Obama would suddenly become a real friend of Israel?

The Palestinians need a state that is contiguous and cohesive, and that allows them to prosper.
A contiguous Palestinian state? Um… how exactly does one do that? With bridges and corridors criss-crossing and dividing up Israel proper? Yes, this from a candidate who thinks Arkansas is closer to Kansas than his home state, and that Oregon has great lakes. You thought George Bush was bad?
Capital of Israel and Undivided?! Wow, was this a big one. Obama was really aiming to have AIPAC fall at his feet here, or he just believes himself to be the Messiah.
Jerusalem will remain the capital of Israel, and it must remain undivided.
