CHANEPH? (BEGIN RANT) YOU JUST CAN'T MAKE THIS STUFF UP!
"On Sunday, Halliburton announced a plan to move its corporate headquarters from Houston to Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Democratic lawmakers, led by Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vt., accused the company of dodging taxes and called the move "corporate greed at its worst."
Maybe I am getting weak minded in my old age but let me get this straight.
We know that Arab countries are problems. We know the 9/11 terrorists got funding from the U.A.E. We got the sale of our PORTS to Arabs killed when people finally woke up and saw the massive potential security risk. And now, one of the biggest profiteers from the Iraq boondoogle is moving its headquarters to DUBAI? Is that right? I'm not reading The Onion?
What happened to the War on Terror here? Or Mission Accomplished? Or Support Our Troops?
I am almost afraid to ask who or what is overseeing this move in Arab countries...

Hypocrisy is the act of condemning another person, where the stated basis for the criticism is the breach of a rule which also applies to the critic and of which the critic is in breach to a similar or greater extent. A person engaged in hypocrisy is called a hypocrite. The word hypocrisy, derives from the Late Latin hypocrisis which further derives from the Greek υπόκρισις (hypókrisis) --- both meaning 'play-acting' or 'pretense'. The Greek noun derives from the compound verb υποκρῑνεσθαι (hypokrīnesthai) from ὑπό- (hypo-) under + κρῑνειν (krīnein), to judge, which itself is etymologically related to the word "criticism".
