"Pauly Bear"s Break-Up Ad Got Him Served

What a complete moron! Why, oh, why did he do that? Talk about no class, no shame, no boundaries. Like that old male saw from the 1950s and 1960s maybe he was really one of those "find 'em, feel 'em, f**k 'em and forget 'em!" types and the girlfriend dumped his sorry self before he could drag her down even further. But he had to make it look like it was the other way around, and do it in a humilitating and downright sick way.

No, Pauly-Bear couldn't just go to her like an adult and tell her it was over. He reached in his pocket and paid for a humilitating advertisement.

The article itself ticked me off by using the dustiest cliche on the shelf - that she's "a woman scorned." Why is a woman who is rightfully upset, hurt and angry suddenly scorned? A term that purposely carries with it shades of a crazed "Fatal Attraction" character boiling bunnies in some guy's kitchen.

I know people who have been accused by exes of posting them online or telling their business. I myself have been accused of some horrible things (you'll have to write me off this blog to find out what and I will have to think about whether I want to tell you ) -- some which are physically impossible for me to have done. I did what I needed to do to protect my family from these sorts of bullies. But guys like Pauly-Bear think they can hide behind an advertisement or some online board like Craigslist.

Dunkel did what many guys do -- overexaggerate and lie about the real relationship. And use the lies to humilitate poor Tammy. This jerk was on Craigslist ranting about it too... surprise (NOT) By the way, what newspaper advertising department TOOK HIS AD? Left a woman with, probably, a nice case of PTSD which will take her a long time to get over.

Because that's what he is - Paul Lee Dunkel - a bully. Tammy, find someone who deserves you. And let us pray that Dunkel never finds another love and then BREEDS.

The woman scorned, Tammy Lapoint, said she's been publicly humiliated and that she decided to fight back.

A blushing bride and plans for a wedding are usually what appear in newspaper announcements, but on July 9, an announcement by Paul Lee Dunkel -- better known as Pauly Bear -- in a local newspaper announced that his fiancee had dumped him.

"This guy is a complete moron. I'm sorry," said Bridal Warehouse employee Wanda Carroll.

In the paid ad, Dunkel said he's happy the couple's engagement was broken and called the relationship a nightmare. He also left a cryptic message that said "I love our babies," which may have referred to the couple's dogs.

Lapoint said she was less than impressed by the ad, so she filed harassment charges and a civil lawsuit against Dunkel. She's also filing suit against all the newspapers who published the ad.
"She was absolutely mortified to see this come out in the newspaper and to see it on the Internet. He was also on Craigslist posting comments in their rants and raves section about her," said Lapoint's attorney Tim Hatton.
To make matters worse, Hatton said there never was an engagement, a party or any gifts to be returned. Hatton said the whole ordeal has left Lapoint scared about what else Dunkel may do.

"Maybe he's just a bad apple. Maybe he's just unbalanced. We don't know at this point," Hatton said.

The harassment warrant against him has not been served as of this writing.
